Terrace Bar Ocaña

Located in Barcelona’s Plaça Reial, the bar pays tribute to a street performer, J.P. Ocaña, who used to stroll down the Ramblas with a geranium in his buttonhole. Red geraniums are planted in salvaged shop display cases filled with old crockery and tin cans. A series of barrels arranged throughout the space serve as planters for leafy Mediterranean shrubs: olives, mastics, pittosporum. The geraniums and the barrels serve as the bar’s branding.
